Dear fellow Youth Leaders and Pastors,

God has been doing some amazing work since our Cultivation youth/young adult conference back in Aug 09. We have heard many great testimonies of young people’s lives being dramatically changed, as well as youth groups going home with fresh vision and excitement, resulting in significant growth. This year we feel strongly God challenging us to make disciples out of our young people. Taking this challenge seriously we have made a few changes to this ministry. One of those changes is our name, we are now called Cultivation Generation. We made this name change because we felt God is birthing something great in our young generation for his Kingdom. The next is creating a website where Youth Leaders, Pastors and young people can be equipped, inspired and connect throughout the year. This website will also be used as a place for young people’s talents and gifting to be developed and showcased. We hope these changes will help envision and equip this young generation in becoming a kingdom people.

Cultivation Generation Youth/Young Adult Conference Aug 5-8th 2010

This conference is a weekend filled with top notch worship music, speakers, workshops and outreach opportunities. This will be our 4th annual conference and will feature Ed Piorek, Jeremiah Carlson, and Dana Nuti as our conference speakers. Ed is the Pastor Emeritus at Vineyard Community Church in Laguna Niguel and the author of “The Father Loves You” and “The Central Event”. Having personally experienced a deeper understanding of the Fathers love for us through Ed’s ministry, we felt his message is very poignant and can bring healing to many young people who are growing up in what is called “The Fatherless Generation”. Jeremiah Carlson is the NW Youth Task Force Leader, Director of Cultivation Generation Ministries and lead singer of The Neverclaim. Dana Nuti is the Youth Pastor of The Reno Vineyard Church and also serves on the NW Youth Task Force Team. We will also feature amazing worship artists: The Neverclaim, Jesse Meyer and Stephen Lampert. Every year we have seen God move in amazing ways in and through our attendee’s and we are expecting nothing short of a life changing event for anyone who attends. This year we are recording our First LIVE worship album that will capture the atmosphere of worship the young people in The Vineyard Movement are creating.

As we mentioned above, this website has two main goals. The first is to bring ministry and resources to Youth Leaders as well as young people to equip and empower them. The second is to create opportunities to showcase the various gifting and talent coming up out of our movement. Our desire is that this website would be the place to display music, poetry, photography, preaching, thought provoking blogs, essays, visual art, videos and more. It would be the voice for our generation.
